Bust out the Smucker’s because it’s time to jam! (*BOOOOOO!!!*) Today Show legend Willard Scott, 80, has finally hitched his longtime partner of over 10 years. Via The Today Show:
The former weatherman, who recently turned 80 and has been a part of the TODAY family for more than 30 years, wed Paris Keena in Fort Myers, Florida on Tuesday.
Willard and Paris first met in 1977, when Paris worked for NBC’s Washington affiliate, WRC.
The two stayed in touch on and off over the years before reconnecting for good. They’ve been together for around 11 years, splitting their time between Florida, Virginia and Connecticut.
That’s great. Willard Scott was always the highlight of The Today Show. He seems like a nice guy, and his segments where he did birthday moments for old people was always a smile inducing part of the show. PB&J’s for all! Unless you have a peanut butter allergy. I’m not getting sued.
