On September 11th, Bob Dylan will release his 35th studio album, Tempest, which he describes as “anything goes and you just gotta believe it will make sense.” Now, Dylan’s doing a lot of peculiar things in his career — like having the cops called on him because he looked crazy while searching for Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run-era house and releasing a Christmas album, even though he’s got that whole Jewish thing going on — but this has to rank near the top: two songs from Tempest, “New Roman Kings” and “Scarlet Town,” will premiere in the Cinemax original series The Girl’s Guide to Depravity, I mean, Strike Back, about a counter-terrorism unit.
