Kevin Love Dropped 34 Points And A Career High Eight Threes In The First Quarter

Kevin Love got off to an absolutely mind-boggling start against the Blazers on Wednesday, going 6-of-6 from behind the arc before the midway point of the first quarter, and finishing 8-of-10 from downtown overall in the opening frame to lead the Cavs with 34 points after one. His eight threes were a career-high.

Love and the Cavs took advantage of slow rotations and generally poor defensive efforts to race out to a big lead. Love’s 34 points is also tied for the most he’s scored since joining Cleveland. He reached mark one other time last season against the Magic.
