Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt’s decision-making was called into question following Cleveland’s last-second 86-84 victory over the Chicago Bulls in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Why? LeBron James, who scored the game-winning shot, told reporters that he “scratched” the play that Blatt had drawn up with 1.5 seconds left — one that had James inbounding the ball, not taking the last shot. Blatt was asked following the game about how he handles criticism being the Cavs’ head coach. His answer compared coaching an NBA team to being a fighter pilot because of course, right?
