How Did Goran Dragic Immediately Get Up After Taking This Elbow From DeMar DeRozan?

Update: Never doubt the toughness of Goran Dragic. He’s back on the floor to begin the second half despite receiving eight total stitches and his teeth piercing his lip. Wow.

Previously: Goran Dragic lost a tooth on two separate occasions during the regular season. Considering his dental luck in 2015-16, then, it’s pretty tough to believe he came away from this nasty collision with DeMar DeRozan “only” bleeding from the nose.

Apparently worse than taking an elbow to the face, though? That Dragic was called for a block on the play. Immediately after rising to his feet and angrily appealing to officials, the Miami Heat guard hurried back to the locker room just before half time.

We’ll keep you updated on his status as additional information becomes available.
