So, Game 1 of the NBA Finals went pretty much how we thought it would go, right? With Steph Curry and Klay Thompson combining to shoot 8-27 and the Warriors still winning by double digits? LeBron, your thoughts?
Well, even though the Cavs were never going to sweep this series, and Game 1 so often shakes out to be a weird one thanks to all the nervous energy on the court, the fact that the Cavs got the break they needed with the Splash Brothers and still didn’t win. The Cavs have to know this was as good of an opportunity as they were going to get on the road in this series. And the fact that they were unable to get a solid offensive performance or keep the Warriors’ role players in check has to leave a poor taste in the mouths of Cleveland and their fans.
