It’s been a few weeks since Ty Dolla $ign announced his next mixtape, Campaign, and Monday he called into Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show World Record to premier the title track to the tape. Calling in from Croatia, Ty detailed how he and Future made “Campaign” on the tour bus during their run on the Purple Reign tour earlier this year.
“We were just parked right there outside of the venue and he came on and just literally freestyled like four, five songs, back to back to back,” he told Zane after premiering the track. “I did my part after he left and we’re dropping it now. It’s lit!”
Ty also revealed that Wiz Khalifa, Trey Songz, Travi$ Scott, Migos and Meek Mill will all make appearances on Campaign, though he stopped short of giving a release date. “I’d rather wait until I have the master in my hand to announce the date,” he said. “It’s not even about a sneak attack, it’s just about I want the master in my hand so there’s no excuse.”
