In the brand spanking new red band trailer for Sleeping with Other People, Jason Sudeikis and Alison Brie play Jake and Lainey, two people who desperately do not want to have sex with each other. The big problem is that they’re sex addicts and run into each other at their sex addict meeting, and Lainey also lost her virginity to Jake, so it’s not like they’re complete strangers when it comes to their private parts. Can they maintain their brand new relationship as BFF or will they eventually develop into the other kind of BFF, and ruin everything between them in the process? I bet we’ll have to watch and find out.
Sleeping with Other People made its debut at Sundance earlier this year, and our own Mike Ryan enjoyed it and especially the maturity that Sudeikis displays as an actor. But if that’s not a good enough reason to see this, it’s a movie starring Jason Sudeikis and Alison Brie, as well as other really funny people. And it’s about sex. Also, they do drugs at a birthday party. Geez, you people are picky. Co-starring Adam Scott, Amanda Peet, and Jason Mantzoukas, Sleeping with Other People hits theaters nationwide on Sept. 11.
