Another Marvel Regular Will Be Making An Appearance In ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’

The last time we saw “Happy” Hogan, Tony Stark‘s former driver, and security guard, it was Iron Man 3 and he was just waking up from a coma, ready to resume his duties as the head of Stark Industries security.

A lot has gone on since then. The heroes have banded together to save the world and then they split up and punched each other across the world that they so often save. While audiences were thrilled by the action on-screen, many were left wondering about Tony’s (now high-ranking) gopher. Where was he? Who is carrying Tony’s things? Where was Jon Favreau?

The answer: developing a billion-dollar movie in the live-action adaptation of The Jungle Book. But where was he in the Marvel universe?

It looks like we’ll finally be able to piece together Happy’s lost years, at least a little because Favreau will be returning to Robert Downey Jr.’s side in Spider-Man: Homecoming. We know that Stark has a special relationship with ‘ol Underoos, so maybe Happy and Tony will join hands and guide young Peter Parker to his bright future as a crime fighting webslinger.

It’ll be cool to see the Marvel universe go back to the well and show off its deep cast of characters Even if it’s just a cameo.
