Maybe you’re going to be one of those thrill seekers who sees Fifty Shades of Grey in the theater. Or perhaps you’re one of those people who would rather laugh and dismiss the adaptation of EL James’ steamy bestseller while waiting for it to arrive on VOD so you can “judge” it more thoroughly in the privacy of your own home.
Either way, Focus Features felt that they needed to further introduce their movie about a young girl’s strange, erotic journey
from Milan to Minsk, and to do that, they spent a few million dollars to brag about how many people have read the book (100 million) and watched the initial trailer (250 million). They also showcased a lovely tribute to Aerosmith’s “Love In An Elevator” before leaving us with a cliffhanger about Christian Grey’s play room. If he doesn’t keep his Xbox in his playroom, what does he have in there?
