Gucci Mane Gets Into The Christmas Spirit Early With His ‘St. Brick Intro’ Video

If you think you’ve seen and heard everything Gucci Mane has to offer, erase that thought right now and watch his new video for “St. Brick Intro.” The song’s the lead release from his upcoming album, The Return of East Atlanta Santa, and it’s almost an instant entry the best Christmas rap songs canon easily.

Zaytoven reworked “Jingle Bells” into a more trap-friendly sound to accommodate Gucci’s style and LaFlare manages to mix in references to serving quarters, pounds and Christmas gifts in a fluid way that only he could manage. The visual itself features Guwop rolling around the city in a red droptop spreading cheer throughout the neighborhood with the help of a sexy set of elves. At one point, he slides out of chimney in a Santa suit, almost catching a beatdown from an alarmed homeowner, until he snaps his fingers and supplies the home with gifts galore.

The most impressive thing about the new and improved Gucci Mane is his how his outlook has so greatly changed. It’s like at some point while he was caged away in a cell he decided he would never be boxed in again, physically or mentally. Ever since his release, he’s transformed himself from an overlord of trap to a more well-rounded artist who’s all about putting his larger than life personality on full display for the world to see, be it showcasing his emerging fashion sense with Vogue or proposing to his ride or die chick in the middle of a NBA game. He’s living out loud and it’s hard not to love seeing the brother appreciate his freedom.
