Is This Trailer More Evidence That The Original Guns N’ Roses Lineup Is Reuniting?

As 2016 draws ever closer, one question continues to persist: are Guns N’ Roses reuniting? Earlier this year, we found out that after years of animosity, frontman Axl Rose and guitarist Slash had finally buried the hatchet, leading fans to logically wonder if the original lineup was going to reconvene. Now, a new video airing at screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens has allowed those rumors to blossom even further.

There’s not really much to the video; it’s just a 15-second clip of a raucous crowd rocking out while G N’ R plays “Welcome To The Jungle.” So, it’s hardly enough to confirm that the reunion is taking place, but it does make that question even more urgent than it was before. Equally adding fuel to the fire is the news we reported earlier this week that the band’s website has recently been updated to feature the classic logo, while the band’s Facebook page has been updated to show a cheering crowd. None of this definitively means that the original lineup is going to reconvene, but they sure seem to be hinting at it very strongly.

Slash officially left Guns N’ Roses into 1996 due to animosity with Rose. The band has seen several members shuffle in and out since then, and in 2008, released the long-awaited Chinese Democracy, with Rose the only original member to appear on the record.
