Watch Jay Z’s Performance At The First Bad Boy Family Reunion Concert

Jay Z popped up for a performance during the star-studded kick-off of Puff Daddy’s Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour at the Barclays Center on May 20. After an introduction by Puff where he called Jigga his brother, Jay whipped out his classic Black Album track “Public Service Announcement.”

“You’ve been there with me through my ups and downs. Whenever I get in trouble, this is the one I call. This is my strategist right here, this my brother, this B.I.G.’s brother, this Brooklyn’s own,” Puff Daddy said, alluding to the fact that the Barclays show was taking place on Biggie Smalls’ birthday. “That’s why I appreciate you. He came from 5,000 miles away to come here to Brooklyn to represent for B.I.G.”

Puff called the song his “favorite joint” and judging by the crowd’s reaction, the Bad Boy leader wasn’t alone. On top of the big-name acts who are a part of the Bad Boy family (Faith Evans, 112, Ma$e, Lil Kim, Mary J. Blige and French Montana), the night also featured surprise appearances by Rick Ross, Ty Dolla $ign, Busta Rhymes, Usher and Nas.

The latter came out to perform his collaboration with Puff “Hate Me Now”, with both rappers wearing bizarro wedding outfits with impossibly long trains. Check out that and Usher’s performance of “I Need A Girl” below
