Jim Carrey took a break fro making creepy videos for Emma Stone and having an odd website to stop in at Arlene’s Grocery in New York City and sing Radiohead’s “Creep” with a pretty damn good backing band. He pretty much nailed it, although I spent most of this video wondering what I was seeing and why anyone would hold their phone that way to film something. This wasn’t as funny as I expected, probably because Carrey can actually sing. I’ve gotta admit I prefer when a celebrity plays it more for laughs, like when Jason Segel, Alison Brie, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, and a sex doll crashed a stranger’s bachelorette party.
Frankly, this rendition of “Creep” was not very “Creep”-like. Oh, I know! I’ll just imagine he’s totally singing this to Emma Stone.
