Since 2010, Marcus Haney has been to over 50 music festivals without every paying for a ticket. He’s attended Bonnaroo, Coachella, and even the Grammys, all because he knows how to make replica wristbands and sneak past security guards. Actually, it’s a bit more complicated than that, but he’ll tell the complete story in his upcoming documentary, No Cameras Allowed, the trailer for which you can watch above (fittingly, it was leaked and isn’t meant to be the final version).
Here’s what Haney told Noisey about being a LAWBREAKER.
The trailer for the film shows you guys printing off fake passes and making wristbands. What techniques have you used to get into festivals?
We’ve done everything…from jumping fences to fake wristbands to posing as security to posing as artists to posing as press to running through truck entrances to going underneath fences. (Via)
There’s even a good story about hiding underneath a toilet, making No Cameras Allowed the Slumdog Millionaire of documentaries about not paying money to see Mumford & Songs.
