I, I will be king, and you, Janelle Monáe, you will be queen, and together we’ll explore the world, you bringing your show-stopping David Bowie covers to the adoring masses, and me, well, I’ll figure something out. Maybe I can style your hair, or learn to swim like dolphins?
That’s the plan, at least. Until then, I’ll have to settle for watching you perform “Heroes” on Late Show with David Letterman, which, all things considered, isn’t a bad second-place prize.
