Kehlani Broke Down And Canceled A Show Last Night Telling The Crowd, ‘I Feel Crazy’

Kehlani alarmed many people when she took to the stage at a scheduled performance in Grand Rapids last night just before show time and announced that she was not going to perform. The singer walked out wearing an oversized tee-shirt and said, “I can’t sit up here and give you guys the show that is not my show.” A few moments later, she broke down in tears and revealed, “I truly feel like I might have to go to the hospital at this point because I feel crazy.”

Immediately, fans and supporters flashed back to when Kehlani was put in on a psychiatric hold last year, and tried to take her own life. “Today I wanted to leave this earth. Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I’d get to such a low point,” she wrote in an Instagram post back in March of 2016. “Everyone is hurt and everyone is in a place of misunderstanding.. But as of today, I had no single wish to see tomorrow.. But God saved me for a reason, and for that… I must be grateful.. Cuz I’m not in heaven right now for a reason.”

Earlier this morning she took to Instagram to give her worried fans an update. She admitted that it was, “really hard to get up and do that last night, but I wanted to at least try.” She also revealed that she’s, “still very much sick but going to get as much rest as I can today.” She’s since deleted the note.

Her manager also stepped out on Twitter to reassure everyone that the singer is “all good she was under the weather last night the cold weather got our whole bus sick! We back to business tomorrow night in Detroit.”

This isn’t the first time she’s had to put a show on hold for health reasons. In March she nixed a tour of Europe because of a hernia. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery.
