Oh, no! No, no, no. Lake Taylor trailed Monocan in the Virginia State semifinal 14-12 with 14 seconds left and lined up for a game winning field goal. That’s when all hell broke loose. Monocan blocked it and celebrated like they had just won the damn Super Bowl.
But there was one big problem. The ball never crossed the line of scrimmage. The ball was live.
As Monocan players danced and moonwalked and busted out their best NaeNae, Lake Taylor walked into the end zone for a game-winning touchdown.
