Does This BYU Player’s Dick Punch Count As An Honor Code Violation?

When a ball is on the ground in a football game, the rules often go out the window. It’s anarchy down there. But without the benefit of a pile, BYU offensive lineman Ului Lapuaho’s dirty deed against Boise State was out in the open for everyone to see.

You’re supposed to be better than that, Brigham Young. You’re the school that cracks down like a nun’s ruler anytime an athlete does something that the Bible says is bad. Maybe the Bible doesn’t explicitly ban nut shots, but it damn sure implies that they’re not cool, as does every law of man. It’s understood that football is a violent game, but targeting the nuts is never cool.
