UFC Fight Night 37 Live Discussion: The War Between Sweden and England Continues

UFC Fight Night 37 is live, from London, England, which means that this card – our full expert predictions here – starts at like noon. This is good for you degenerates that stumble out of bed around 1PM, because you won’t have missed much. I have to work on the weekends, so I hate you and all the punch mens y’all get to watch.

Anyway, moving past how bitter I am, there’s FIGHTS! The Fight Pass prelims start up at 12:30 PM ET, and they kick off with what should be a fun flyweight fight (What flyweight fight’s aren’t fun, though?) between Louis “Goodnight” Gaudinot and Phil “Billy” Harris. Can Gaudinot’s troll doll powers see him through, or will Paul Harris’ tiny brother avenge his leg-destroying sibling’s recent release?  There’s also Luke “Tall, Awkward Dude” Barnatt taking on Mats “You Don’t Know Who I Am” Nilsson, Cyrille Diabate’s last fight ever, and Danny “The Cheesecake Assassin” Mitchell’s existence.

After the prelims wrap up, stay on Fight Pass, because the main card starts at 3:00 PM ET. Another fun kick-off fight, as Gunnar “Gunni” Nelson takes on Omari “Lakec” Akhmedov, and Omari is from Dagestan, so that fight should be several different kinds of rad. There’s also Michael “The Menace” Johnson and Melvin “Young Assassin” Guillard throwing down in a lightweight scrap, and in the main event, my uncrowned light heavyweight champion, Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson takes on Jimi “Poster Boy” Manuwa. If Gustafsson wins, he should probably get the next shot at the light heavyweight title, while if Manuwa wins, I’ll curse a lot.

A good slew of fights on a Saturday afternoon, so let’s have some fun in the comments, friends!
