A USC Player Got Ejected For Stomping On An Alabama Player’s Nuts

This is so not ok. Jabari Ruffin got kicked out of USC’s showdown against Alabama because he stomped on a Crimson Tide player’s nuts. This would be awful under most circumstances, but it’s especially awful because Ruffin’s nut stomp was 100 percent intentional.

The most unfortunate part of this play, if you’re a USC fan (well, other than the fact that a player got ejected for a wholly unnecessary nut stomp), is that another Trojans player tried to help out that ‘Bama player that Ruffin stomped. Adoree’ Jackson got the ball and was tackled by Alabama’s Minkah Fitzpatrick. There was nothing wild about the play, and Jackson even extended his hand and help Fitzpatrick up.

But Ruffin was passing through at the same time, and after one Alabama player pushed him, he stomped his foot down. Unfortunately for Fitzpatrick, the only thing between Ruffin’s foot and the ground was his groin, so when Ruffin’s foot went down, it made contact with Fitzpatrick’s crotch.

This is our semi-weekly reminder to not try to hurt another human being by kicking/punching them in the crotch. Or, really, just don’t try to hurt another human being. That is mean and, as we learned here, it could mean that you get kicked out of a football game against the No. 1 team in America.
