Yahoo! Is Giving World Cup Fans The Chance To Take On José Mourinho In Fantasy Action

In case you’re the kind of person who isn’t content with simply cheering your favorite team or nation on in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Yahoo! Sports is adding a little March Madness flavor to this year’s big event. The World Soccer Pick ‘Em challenge not only allows even the most casual of fans to take on friends and family in group settings, but everyone who enters also gets to have a cleat-measuring contest with Chelsea manager José Mourinho, who has loaned his brain to Yahoo! for the sake of making this World Cup even more intense. After all, the Pick ‘Em page doesn’t say it, but I’m pretty sure that if you beat the Special One, you get to take over as the manager of Chelsea.

Additionally, Mourinho and Yahoo! are accepting 10-second video clips for the appropriately-named #Special1s contest, which runs through June 26 and features a variety of people trying to show off their best soccer goals. Of course, the main reason that I’ve even brought this up today is because it has one of my favorite things in the world – adorable kids being adorable.

And if you’re looking for actual impressive soccer goals, this should probably do the trick…

But if you’re looking for the sickest muthaf*ckin’ moves you’ve ever seen – or a dude being pantsed – this is right up your alley…

And there are a billion more, so check them out and then make your picks for the World Soccer Pick ‘Em, while I decide if we should have an UPROXX challenge or not.
