Kevin Hart made another return to Conan to promote Ride Along 2, and the host pulled out a few outtakes from their recent driver’s-test training. It was a hilarious trip around LA with some Popeye’s chicken and marijuana, even shining brighter than their first road trip in a Lyft car.
It turns out there were plenty of funny bits that didn’t end up in the original, mostly concerning Conan’s choice of wardrobe. He is wearing the same jacket that he wore in the Lyft remote, which also explains the return of all the male prostitute discussion. Hart even brings it up during the show, offering Conan a possible movie role as a guy who walks by and just happens to be a male prostitute.
We also get a glimpse at the fine art of rhythmic horn honking, making music while you’re commuting and annoying other drivers on the road. Just be sure you have a stack of pennies nearby when you’re eventually chased down and forced to fight for your life. Actually, forget the pennies. You might want a knife or maybe some sort of sling? There are rocks all over the place.
