Fans Think They’ve Discovered A Secret Code In The Latest Episode Of ‘The Walking Dead’

There’s no group of fans that like a puzzle more than The Walking Dead fans. They spent months following the season six season finale trying to decode the final scene so they could figure out who Negan killed. And now they think they’ve discovered another secret hidden beneath the surface of the show.

In the fourth episode of the season, ‘Service,’ Negan arrives at Alexandria with a bruised and bloody Daryl in tow. And while Daryl Dixon continues to be a man of very few words, people think he may have been speaking with his eyes.

That picture of the Morse code board was featured in an earlier shot from Alexandria, so there’s a decent chance Rick’s gang of survivors learned it specifically for a situation where someone can’t speak and need to let their friends know something important. There’s a lot of debate as to exactly what Daryl blinked at Rick, but fans are convinced there’s a code in there that could lead Rick right to the Savior’s front door.

Some believe he’s saying ‘6 miles east of Hilltop’ … is this where the Saviors are located? Others think he’s referring to the State Highway 6 East. Then there’s those who believe he’s telling Rick the Saviors are headed to Hilltop next. Maybe he’s not saying anything at all and just can’t see in that Georgia sun.

If he was signaling something to Rick about Hilltop, we’ll know about it soon. The Walking Dead continues to travel from community to community with each episode, and next week’s show is all about Hilltop. Will Rick snap out of his reverie and fight now that Maggie is in danger? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
