Panic spread across Greece on Monday as banks closed across the nation amid financial turmoil. Many of the banks limited withdrawals from ATMs to as low as $50-60, and some aren’t allowing customers to access their accounts.
Unsurprisingly, things are ugly in the streets of Athens, and CNN reporter Richard Quest was interrupted during a live broadcast by an angry Greek woman.
As it stands now, Greece may face default for an IMF (International Monetary Fund) loan as early as Tuesday. Should that happen, they may no longer be able to use the Euro.
