Jimi Hendrix: Electric Church (Showtime, Friday 9 p.m.) — This doc features interviews with Hendrix, Paul McCartney and other famous musicians, as well as previously unseen footage from Jimi’s iconic Atlanta Pop Festival performance from 1970.

Fear the Walking Dead (AMC, Sunday 9 p.m.) — No new episode this week. Happy Labor Day?

College GameDay (ESPN, Saturday 10 a.m.) — Kirk Herbstreit and co. are in Texas for the first College GameDay of the 2015 season. They’ll preview the action ahead of a full slate of games on various networks, culminating in No. 20 Wisconsin at No. 3 Alabama at AT&T Stadium, also known as Jerry’s World.

Masters of Sex (Showtime, Sunday 10 p.m.) — Johnson tries to talk Dr. Masters into keeping Joshua Charles around so as to prolong their honeymoon period.

Ray Donovan (Showtime, Sunday 9 p.m.) — The authorities are still trying to get Jon Voight to turn rat. The problem is that — when cornered — a rat can do some scary stuff.
