Weekend Preview: Swimming Ends At The Olympics And ‘The Night Of’ Goes On Trial

2016 Summer Olympics Primetime: Track and field; swimming; women’s diving; women’s beach volleyball (NBC, Friday 8:00 p.m.) — Team USA continues to dominate in the pool with Michael Phelps, Katie Ledecky and Missy Franklin racing tonight. We also get our first look at the U.S. track team with American Michelle Carter qualifying for shot put.

The Night Of (HBO, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — Is The Night Of still one of the better shows on TV right now? Definitely. Do we still have a ton of questions about where the show is headed? You bet. Foot fetishes aside, last week’s episode was one of the show’s best yet. This week, the case readies for trial as Helen Weiss comes on as prosecutor while Naz and Freddy’s alliance grows stronger.

Killjoys (Syfy, Friday 9:00 p.m.) — The team is tested as Dutch investigates a captured Level Six agent and Johnny secretly investigates Jelco’s wall for Pawter.

2016 Summer Olympics Primetime: Track and field; swimming; women’s diving; beach volleyball (NBC, Saturday 8:00 p.m.) — It’s the final day of swimming (and our last chance to see Michael Phelps race) as the men’s the 4x100m medley relay and the women’s 50m free and 4x100m medley relay finals take place. Later, we head to the track for the women’s 100m, the men’s long jump and 10,000m, and the heptathlon.

2016 Summer Olympics Primetime: Women’s diving; track and field; gymnastics; women’s beach volleyball (NBC, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — Usain Bolt goes for his third gold medal in the men’s 100m as Simone Biles and Sam Mikulak try to win gold in the gymnastics apparatus finals.

Celebrity Family Feud (ABC, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — Paula Deen and her family compete against Carson Kressley and his family. This should be good.

Big Brother (CBS, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — Nominations for another eviction are revealed.

Power (Starz, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — Tommy hunts for whoever tried to kill him while Ghost has a new problem to deal with thanks to Proctor. Elsewhere, Greg puts the pressure on Ruiz and Angela takes extreme measures to prevent him from discovering Ghost’s true identity.

Ray Donovan (Showtime, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — Ray recruits Lena and Daryll to help make sure the rematch with Whittaker proceeds as planned.

The $100,000 Pyramid (ABC, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — The celebrity matchups include Steve Schirripa vs. Melissa Peterman; and Teri Polo vs. Zachary Levi.

The Last Ship (TNT, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — Kara snoops in the White House and Chandler finds a lead that could resolve all their problems.

Ballers (HBO, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — Reggie and Joe try to cheer up Vernon as Spencer gets some bad health news while counseling Travis.

BrainDead (CBS, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — Luke goes up against Red in a Senate Intelligence meeting about a threatening war while Gustav and Rochelle capture and interrogate a man believed to be infected with bugs.

Roadies (Showtime, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — Reg makes a shocking decision about the future of the tour while Phil regales with the crew with a story from his rock-n-roll past on an all-night bus ride.

Survivor’s Remorse (Starz, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — Missy deals with the fall-out from a photo-shoot gone wrong, and Chen and Cassie try to make their long-distance relationship work with the help of technology.
