What’s On Tonight: ‘The X-Files’ Ends (Again) And Things Get Messy On ‘Better Call Saul’

X-Files

The X-Files (Fox, 8 p.m.) – Damn you, Fox! You give us a few glorious episodes of Mulder/Scully action and then you just yank it away. That’s right, tonight marks the end of The X-Files (again). I refuse to believe this will be the last time we see David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson solve alien conspiracies on TV, but just in case, you better tune in tonight. Apparently, every person in America has somehow been injected with alien DNA.

Better Call Saul (AMC, 10 p.m.) — Mike tries to keep a messy situation from getting worse by brokering a deal, while Jimmy tries to deal with an eccentric client.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (CW, 8 p.m.) – Rebecca tries to redeem herself after that texting disaster by taking a case she thinks will bring her and Josh closer together. Unfortunately for her, Greg’s wised up to her stalker tactics.

Supergirl (CBS, 8 p.m.) – On top of battling a bloodthirsty Master Jailer who’s taken it upon himself to hunt down and execute Fort Rozz escapees, Kara also has to deal with Cat’s brown-nosing new assistant.

Superstore (NBC, 8 p.m.) – The season one finale sees Cheyenne finally giving birth to her baby and finding out that Cloud 9 – like every other workplace in America – has terrible maternity leave. Someone should’ve really told her that before she popped out a drooling Petri dish that will drain her wallet for the next 18 years.

The Bachelor (ABC, 8 p.m.) – We’re down to the final four. Tonight, Ben heads to each of the ladies’ hometowns where one bachelorette’s dad makes him cry, and another brings out his shotgun. (Okay, fine. He just grills him pretty hard. But it’d be really cool if at least one of these women’s dads actually questioned the motives of a man who, at one point in the show, was dating 26 women while casually showing off his rifle collection on national TV.)

WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 8 p.m.) — We look back at the madness that was the Reigns-Ambrose-Lesnar match at Fastlane.

Telenovela (NBC, 8:30 p.m.) — The cast is busy trying to impress a new script writer while Ana thinks Xavi may have been kidnapped after he stands her up on their coffee date.

Angie Tribeca (TBS, 9 p.m.) — Angie and her fellow officers probe a prostitution ring until the lieutenant halts the investigation.

Jane the Virgin (CW, 9 p.m.) — First Jane gets some advice from Xo about taking her relationship with Jonathan to the next level, then she gets roped into throwing a baby shower for her ex’s ex.

The Biggest Loser (NBC, 9 p.m.) — One of the contestants still at the ranch wins $250,000 while another already sent home collects $100,000. Both prizes are a bit much in my opinion. I could lose 100 pounds, too, if I knew that kind of money was waiting for me.

The Magicians (Syfy, 9 p.m.) — The students have to pass something known as “The Trials” or faces expulsion from their secret magic school.

Lucifer (Fox, 9 p.m.) — Lucifer’s too busy trying to solve a fashion show shooting that he doesn’t notice when Amenadiel sets his sights on Dr. Linda.

NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS, 10 p.m.) — Callen, Sam and Anna hatch a plan to break Anna’s father out of prison and Callen finally learns what the “G” in his name stands for.

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee (TBS, 10:30 p.m.) — Samantha gives Syrian refugees in Jordan what they really need: a tutorial on America.
