Beastie Boys are preparing to release their eighth studio album, titled “Hot Sauce Committee,” for this fall. Because this is how these things go, the actual release date will be revealed… at a later date.

Folks eager to get a first-listen, however, may have to try their luck. Two new tracks, “Lee Majors Come Again” and an a capella version of the track “B Boys in the Cut” appear on extremely limited 7″ vinyl, distributed randomly inside of the recent deluxe limited collectors vinyl re-issue editions of 1992 set “Check Your Head.”

The ‘Boys will no doubt be revealing new songs as they perform on the summer festival circuit this summer, starting June 12 at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn. Other stops include July 31 at All Points West festival at New Jersey’s Liberty State Park, Aug. 2 at the Osheaga Festival in Montreal, Aug. 8 at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Aug. 29 at Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park, a Sept. 24 appearance at the Hollywood Bowl in L.A. and Oct. 2 at the Austin City Limits in Austin, Texas.

The Beasties — Mike D, Adrock and MCA — last released “The Mix-Up,” an entirely instrumental record, in 2007. There was talk of having guest vocalists like M.I.A. and Jarvis Cocker contribute rhymes and verses to the set, but the idea has since been abandoned.

The group will also be re-issuing 1994’s “Ill Communication” on July 14.
