It was a week of “American Idol” stars, past and present, as Katharine McPhee, Jordin Sparks, Jason Castro and Daughtry all had some videos hit the ‘Net. Additionally, Kris Allen and David Archuleta made news of their own.

Get your HitFix of hip-hop from T.I., rock from Flyleaf, dance from Kylie Minogue, pop from Justin Bieber, grunge from Nirvana, stoner from Wolfmother (and John Mayer) and more in this week’s wrap-up

T.I., “Hell of a Life”

The rapper won some BET awards from jail last weekend, so it’s pretty appropriate that this clip takes place half the time from the slammer.

Kylie Minogue, “Loco-motion” (live)

Kylie kicked off her very first North American tour earlier this week, and brought the burlesque with her in this cover tune.

Flyleaf, “Again”

Defining the new, made-up genre of Hard Rock Handwringing Videos. Fire! Fire!

“Again” – Flyleaf (from Memento Mori)

Daughtry, “Life After You”

Read about the video and our thoughts on it here.

Jordin Sparks, “Hot ‘N’ Cold”

We told you it was cute.

Jason Castro, “Let’s Fall in Love Again”

If you didn’t like him before, he may change your mind.

Katharine McPhee, “I Had It All”

A lot of show, not a lot of tell.

All-American Rejects, “I Wanna”

Can you win a Grammy for product placement?

John Mayer, “Who Says”

As HitFix crit Melinda Newman asks, “Is he stoned?”

Wolfmother, “New Moon Rising”

To wit, this song and video probably makes you stoned.

 Nirvana, “School” (live)

A live performance from the 1992 Reading Festival, available on the forthcoming CD+DVD “Nirvana Live at Reading.” Bring back the trenchcoat.

Justin Bieber, “One Less Lonely Girl”

From the Department of Artists Who Wouldn’t Remember Nirvana, here’s chart-climber Justin Bieber. One Less Lonely Girl, On More Crit Who Feels Old.

Arctic Monkeys, “Cornerstone”

This video was obviously shot in, like, one take, one long shot, and it will either bore you or hypnotize you. It looks like lead singer Alex Turner wants to be a YouTube lip-sync star.
