While all eyes are firmly on the returns of shows like Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley and VEEP on HBO in April, the network has reminded the world that this summer a second season of Ballers will be airing as well. We’re at a place in time when the Rock is no longer seen as a professional wrestler from the WWE who made it big in Hollywood, instead he’s one of Hollywood’s most famous leading men who happened to dabble in wrestling beforehand.
Starting on July 17th, Ballers returns to televisions, tablets and just screens in general everywhere with its second season. This new, second trailer for the upcoming season shows a glimpse of what to expect in the bombastic new season of Ballers. The trailer features everything from Rob Corddry smacking Dwayne Johnson (my god) to giving a peek at the central dramatic plot points will be for the new season, which seems to be landing huge contracts and dealing with industry sleazeballs like Mr. Anderson.
Oh yeah, there are cheerleaders, pools, 50 Cent and fast cars as well. That means that Ballers season two should deliver on absolutely everything that the first season did, which is a good thing. A very, very good thing.
