What’s On Tonight: Samantha Bee’s ‘Full Frontal’ Late-Night TV Takeover

Full Frontal With Samantha Bee (TNT/TBS, 10:30 p.m.) — If anyone is worthy of crashing the obnoxious boy’s club that is late-night TV, it’s Samantha Bee. (Let’s be honest, one of the best things to come from Jon Stewart’s Daily Show Era will always be her The Five skit.) While sketches and guests are two things you won’t see on her own late-night comedy series, tonight’s premiere will treat you to a satirical look at Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (CW, 8 p.m.) — Rebecca prevents one couple from reconciling after taking drastic measures to make sure Josh never sees the sext message she accidentally sent him.

Cops (Spike, 8 p.m.) — I was shocked that this show is still on, until I saw the episode description. “An argument over milk turns violent.” As long as stupid people exist in the world, Harry Newman will always have a job.

Supergirl (CBS, 8 p.m.) — Supergirl explores some alternate-universe storylines tonight as Kara — who’s trapped in a dream world thanks to a parasitic alien — gets to see what her life would be like if her home planet was never destroyed.

Superstore (NBC, 8 p.m.) — Thanks to an important delivery running behind schedule, the employees are forced to spend the night in the store and find creative, slightly disturbing ways, of bonding with each other.

The Bachelor (ABC, 8 p.m.) — Ben takes two enemies on a date on a private island while treating the rest of the group to an afternoon on a beach inhabited by wild pigs. This is the only episode I’d recommend watching.

The X-Files (Fox, 8 p.m.) — Scully faces some lingering emotions after putting her child up for adoption as she and Mulder help solve the murder of a city official — a crime probably not committed by a disgruntled citizen.

WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 8 p.m.) — Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns finally get up the nerve to confront Brock Lesnar.

Telenovela (NBC, 8:30 p.m.) — Anna plans a ladies-night in order to thwart Mimi’s plans of getting back together with her ex, a guy who just got out of prison.

Angie Tribeca (TBS, 9 p.m.) — A ventriloquist’s death causes Geil’s own hand-puppet aspirations to emerge.

Jane the Virgin (CW, 9 p.m.) — Before Rogelio gets set to propose to Xo, Mateo swallows the engagement ring — proving that he’s either the most accident-prone baby in the world, or that he needs a more observant nanny. Jane continues to dream crush on her professor and Michael comes to a realization about Rose and Mutter.

The Biggest Loser (NBC, 9 p.m.) — Tim Gunn gives the contestants makeovers which they then show off to their families. Why this is happening weeks before a winner is crowned, I’m not exactly sure. Later, a few family members join in to help their loved ones in a Last Chance challenge.

The Magicians (Syfy, 9 p.m.) — Julia’s fallout with Quentin forces her to turn to the Hedge Witches to learn even more powerful spells. Quentin, on the other hand, must find a way to break out of the insane asylum he suddenly finds himself in.

Lucifer (Fox, 9 p.m.) — Lucifer’s completely good-intentioned plan of helping a star quarterback lose his V-card backfires when the lucky woman is found floating face down in a pool the morning after.

NCIS: Los Angeles (CBS, 10 p.m.) — The team recruits Arkady’s daughter for an undercover mission in order to rescue him from the Russians.
