Conor McGregor’s Rich Neighbors Aren’t Happy Living Next To The UFC Superstar

You know what they say, mo’ money, mo’ problems, and that’s the case at the moment for the millionaire residents that live in the exclusive Ladycastle estate on the posh K Club resort in Kildare, Ireland. Specifically, Conor McGregor has more money, and now that he’s living amongst them, he’s causing them more problems.

According to the Sunday World, homeowners are taking issue with McGregor’s behavior since moving into a rented mansion at the end of the street.

The Sunday World has learned that residents in the exclusive Ladycastle estate in the K Club complained to the estate’s board of management that they felt they were no longer able to use an area of the cul-de-sac to turn their cars. It is understood the board informed residents that it had prepared a letter to be sent to the owners of the home – which is rented by McGregor – requiring his protection team to confine themselves to his property.

McGregor’s security has expanded out past the property line and now includes the roundabout at the end of the road, making residents nervous about using it. Whether they’re stopping people or just standing around looking big and mean is unclear, but when you’ve got as much money as the people living on the K Club resort do, you’re not about to let some upstart brute take over the neighborhood with his hired goons! A strongly worded letter will be written!

Of course, McGregor has his reasons for hiring a security detail. Everywhere he goes there are throngs of people waiting for him. Not too long ago we documented the misadventures of a group of Irish youth that went through all sorts of trouble to plant a ‘For Sale’ sign on one of McGregor’s properties. Now imagine how many other people have Conor in their sights with more nefarious plans on their mind. And fight fans can get crazy. When Floyd Mayweather visited the UK, someone firebombed his van (no one was hurt, but jeez).

If Conor somehow makes it through the summer alive and un-evicted, it looks like he’ll be fighting Mayweather next in a boxing ring, provided Floyd and McGregor’s people at the UFC can reach a deal. McGregor has made it clear that he’s not afraid to flip the script if Mayweather is unreasonable, saying he’ll just fight Manny Pacquiao instead or return to the cage if a proper deal can’t be reached.
