Carmelo Anthony Left The Game With An Ankle Sprain After Running Into A Referee

It was a scary moment for Knicks fans Tuesday night when Carmelo Anthony rolled his right ankle upon stepping on an official’s foot. After going to the locker room to have his ankle re-taped, Anthony returned briefly but would ultimately be ruled out of the rest of the game against the Celtics. X-rays came back negative, but there was no further word as to the severity of the injury.
