If you’ve ever dreamed of taking a road cross-country road trip with Charles Barkley, Samuel L. Jackson and Spike Lee, you’re probably a really strange person. But, boy, do we have good news for you!
For the second year in a row, that star-studded trio will be a constant source of entertainment during March Madness commercial breaks. The series of ads will once again feature the three pals embarking on a road trip to the Final Four. As was the case last year, they’re all directed by Lee, and they’re all pretty excellent. One of them even features Barkley singing, which has recently become a college basketball tradition unlike any other.
Not surprisingly, Sir Chuck is the clown of the trip and a good majority of the time is devoted to ragging on him. One would have to image that’d basically be the only realistic outcome of a road trip with Barkley. That, and Jackson stopping to make a random-ass cameo in every state. That guy just can’t say no to anything.
