Draymond Green is nothing if not smart. He knows that in this ever-connected, social-media-centric world, even the slightest hint of emotion would make him into a meme. Never mind that being an All-Star – a title Green officially held after the reserves were announced on Thursday – is the realization of a lifelong dream, because making fun of athletes is apparently more important than praising them for their accomplishments.
Anyways.
When Green heard he was officially an All-Star, he almost cried, but he was clever and strong enough to hold back the tears because he didn’t want to risk being the next Crying Jordan.
