Poor Festus Ezeli. All the Golden State Warriors center wanted to do was take to Twitter and join the Super Bowl 50 conversation by offering congratulations and kind words to the winning quarterback.

While Eli Manning is a two-time Super Bowl champion and winner in every sense of the word, he was not the winning quarterback of Super Bowl 50.

Ezeli corrected himself, although the mistake is understandable, considering Peyton and Eli both threw for the same amount of touchdowns Sunday.

Here’s an easy way to avoid this confusion in the future: Peyton has won two Super Bowls and beat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots twice on the way to the Super Bowl, while Eli has won two Super Bowls and beat Tom Brady and the New England Patriots twice in the actual Super Bowl. Peyton is a spokesman and part owner of Papa John’s pizza while Eli still can’t figure out how to avoid burning the roof of his mouth when he eats pizza.

This happens. There are brothers in the same industry all over the place. After this year’s Oscars, don’t be surprised to see a few prominent athletes send tweets congratulating Frank Stallone for Best Supporting Actor victory.
