The Warriors Avoid This Season’s Biggest Upset With Harrison Barnes’ Game-Winner Against The Sixers

The Golden State Warriors led the Philadelphia 76ers by 19 at the beginning of the fourth quarter on Saturday evening. After the defending champions took their foot off the gas, though, some late-game heroics were required to potentially avoid the season’s biggest upset – and they didn’t come from whom you’d expect.

Yup, that’s Harrison Barnes – not Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, or even Draymond Green – giving Golden State a 108-105 victory over Philadelphia with a three-pointer that left less than one second on the fourth quarter game clock. Philly came up short on its last-gasp chance to tie as time expired.

Just like you expected, right?
