LeBron James Went Full Dad To Make Sure The Score In His Son’s AAU Game Was Correct

LeBron James is just like any sports dad, striving for fairness, clean play and an accurate score up on the scoreboard. James showed that he’s just like us on Thursday night, pointing out that the scoreboard at an AAU game wasn’t accurate.

Officials had to stop play when James, sporting Nikes and a Strive For Greatness shirt, jumped on the court to make sure everything’s on the level.

Once the score got corrected, he clapped it up a bit and slowly walked off the floor.

LeBron then grabbed a child — presumably his own — and lifted him up off the ground and over his head. The best basketball player in the world then gently placed the child back down before play continued.

James has been taking in plenty of basketball this summer, casually watching his son and almost watching Zion Williamson and LaMelo Ball go head-to-head on Wednesday night. It’s a great distraction from all the drama in Cleveland, which essentially amounts to Dan Gilbert and new general manager Koby Altman insisting that everything is fine while it appears to everyone else that the Cavs could fall right into Lake Erie.

But sometimes you can only worry about the things you can control. Like making sure the score is right in a basketball game. Always start with the little things first.
