The 2013-14 College Basketball season is upon us, and what a start it was! If you guessed that the best play of the day came from the VMI – Citadel game, than you are today’s lucky winner. VMI’s Jordan Weethee, who missed all of last season after tearing his ACL, started his sophomore campaign off on the right foot and gave fans their first taste of what this season of college basketball has to offer.
The 6-6, 210 pound Weethee, received a pass from the top of the key, and took the ball strong to the hole before flushing it with one hand over a helpless defender.
Perhaps because he knew his dunk would make Sportscenter’s Top 10 list, Weethee gave the camera a little tongue action after the flush, too.
VMI beat the Citadel 82-71 in the All-Military Classic.
