Gothic and Lolita Psycho Almost Makes Goth Kids Seem Tolerable

Her umbrella is a machine gun.  Your argument is invalid.

Below is the English-subtitled trailer and the gag trailer for Gô Ohara’s Gothic & Lolita Psycho, quite a departure from his last movie, Geisha vs Ninja, which was a completely serious historical documentary about the Geisha/Ninja Wars of the Edo Period, as opposed to this silly, comically violent and crazy Gothic & Lolita Psycho.  I am lying.

The film stars actress and gravure idol Rina Akiyama as Yuki, a girl who lives at home in peace until one day a unit of assassins breaks in and slaughters her mother. [Ed- Motherkilling assassins run rampant in peaceful Japanese towns all the time.  FACT.]  In order to reveal the truth behind the seemingly senseless murder, Yuki transforms herself into a demon of vengeance by donning gothic lolita clothing, wielding a parasol as a deadly weapon, and executing the guilty in the name of God. The visual effects (buckets and buckets of fake blood) are being handled by Yoshihiro Nishimura, who also worked on The Ancient Dogoo Girl, Robo-Geisha (possibly NSFW), and Tokyo Gore Police (probably NSFW).  In other words, this is borderline NSFW and totally insane.  Also, why can’t more Hollywood movies release gag trailers like the second video?  I might be interested in Robin Hood if they had a trailer where Russell Crowe fights for tougher penalties on people using cellphones in theaters and for cellphones to be made heavier so they’re more suitable for throwing.  And if they replaced Little John with Lil Jon.
