Kim Kardashian has a pretty constant grip on the media’s attention, but the pages of Architectural Digest might not be somewhere you’d expect to find her. Alas, that is where she’s just popped up, and in the new interview, she revealed something about her home that’s so Kanye: It turns out that the rapper makes some of the furniture on their house. Kardashian said:

“My husband makes all of his own furniture in his office. My office is all Vincent Van Duysen, but Kanye is so good at it, he loves to draw out pieces. [Interior designer] Axel [Vervoordt] made a couch in our house called the ‘Kanye couch’ because Kanye designed it with him.”

It was reported in January that Kanye hired the minimalist Belgian designer to decorate his Los Angeles home, and it makes sense that Kanye would have an interest in designing his own furniture. Aside from his well-documented forays into fashion, he expressed interest in working with Ikea in 2016, and also that year, he took to Twitter to share sketches of a bed he was designing for himself.

“I’ve been trying to figure out the bed design for the master bedroom at our Hidden Hills compound,” he wrote. “I love Rick Owens’ bed design but the back is too high for the beams and angle of the ceiling. Plus when you sit on the platform, your calf is sort of half on half off. And also, my number one design rule of anything I do from shoes to music to homes is that Kim has to like it. Royère doesn’t make a polar bear bed but the polar bear couch is my favorite piece of furniture we own.”
