A New Jersey Highway Sign Was Hit By ‘Christmas Vacation’-Loving Pranksters

Elaborate multi-stage pranks involving levers and pulleys and dozens of people with synchronized watches are fine and dandy, but sometimes — sometimes — the simplest ones are the best. Take, for example, this one:

At least one Christmas Vacation fan was driving on New Jersey’s Garden State Parkway Thursday.

Someone changed a sign on the highway’s exit for Clark and Westfield to read “Clark Griswold.” [NBC]

Yup, that’s it. That’s the joke. Someone made a highway sign in New Jersey say the name of Chevy Chase’s character in a beloved National Lampoon holiday movie. Merry Christmas. Sh*tter’s full.
