You would think it would be hard for Sia to get into the acting game, unless she was playing herself, given that she wears a crazy wig over her face. The wig has become so iconic that Sia now has her own Snapchat filter that allows you to obscure your own face with a big black and white wig, complete with a bow on top. However, there is one way around having to show your face on camera, and that’s providing your voice to an animated project. That’s just what Sia is going to do, as she will be voicing a character in the upcoming My Little Pony movie.
Fittingly, Sia will play a pop star pony called Songbird Serenade. In addition to acting in the film, she will be contributing two original songs to the soundtrack, which is good reason to bring her into the cast. It remains to be seen how much acting Sia will be called on to do. There is also a photo of a pony with its face obscured by a wig and a big pink bow that is credited to Hasbro, so perhaps Songbird Serenade has a real Sia vibe going on. The movie is out October 6. If nothing else, it will provide you with two new Sia songs.
