Simon Pegg Has Absolute Power In The First Official Trailer For ‘Absolutely Anything’

After a year and a half of waiting, the first official trailer for Simon Pegg‘s Absolutely Anything is finally here. To refresh your collective memories, the Terry Jones directed film features voice performances by the members of Monty Python. The late Robin Williams delivers one of his final performances as the voice of Dennis the dog.

The film tells the story of teacher Neil Clarke, who suddenly receives absolute power from a group of aliens to test whether he will use these new-found abilities for good. If not, bye bye planet Earth!

The story feels like a Douglas Adams tale told through the classic Monty Python lens. Absolutely Anything also stars Rob Riggle, Eddie Izzard, and Kate Beckinsale. The film will hit theaters on August 14th.
