At Comic-Con last night, The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus unveiled the new trailer for Air, which comes from Robert Kirkman’s new Skybound Entertainment banner. In the movie, Reedus and Djimon Hounsou play two custodial workers tasked with maintaining an underground bunker where the last vestiges of society remain. They’re all in cryogenic sleep after a nuclear fallout left the air above ground unbreathable. The custodians wake up to handle their scheduled routine check-ups when everything goes to hell, threatening the lives of the world’s last survivors.
Air was written and directed by video-game writer Christian Cantamessa and will open on August 14.
Reedus also recently unveiled the cool Mondo poster for the film on Twitter.
