It’s unlikely that Canadian slacker-rock icon Mac DeMarco and dance-pop upstart Shamir would ever end up in a room together on their own. So, Complex decided to put them together on a rooftop with a game of Jenga and a bowl of popcorn to see what would happen.

In part one of their interview, the duo discussed how they started smoking, pet peeves, and what they would do if they switched bodies. For the record, Shamir would make out with DeMarco’s girlfriend.

The singer behind my personal pick for Album of the Year so far also admitted to being a weak Jenga player, but covered that up with the explanation that “Black people don’t play Jenga.”

Part two is dropping soon.
