Adele premiered the new music video for “Send My Love To (Your New Lover)” during the 2016 Billboard Music Awards after winning the award for Top Billboard 200 Album and accepting it via pre-recorded video. The visual for the third single from her massively successful album, 25, goes a more artistic route than her previous videos and features the singer dressed in a bright colored floral gown while hitting some subtle dance moves against a stark, black background.
“Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” is Adele’s second music video from 25. It follows the sepia toned, melancholy video for her 2015 monstrous comeback hit “Hello.” The Tottenham, London singer teased fans by releasing a brief, 16 second clip for the new music video on Twitter last Monday.
And so, while Adele’s world tour prevented her from performing in person at this year’s Billboard Music Awards, the sometimes outspoken singer still made her presence felt in a major way with the release of a “Send My Love To (Your New Lover)” — and showed off some new dances moves, to boot.
