Arcade Fire’s Win Butler Pulled A Kanye West At The YouTube Music Awards

So. The YouTube Music Awards happened last night. You probably didn’t notice because you planned on watching the whole thing the next day, today, on YouTube. It was a baffling idea (“Hey, I know what the world needs more: more award shows!” — Qubert T. YouTube IV), but at least the Spike Jonze-directed event had a very good lineup: Arcade Fire, M.I.A., Eminem, Lady Gaga, and more, as well as likable hosts in Jason Schwartzman and Reggie Watts. Plus, Win Butler parodied Kanye West’s “I’mma let you finish…” but made it about the Harlem Shake.

I take it back: DOWN WITH THE YOUTUBE MUSIC AWARDS.
