Fetty Wap Finally Met The 11-Year-Old Fan He Inspired To Live Without His Prosthetic Eye

Remember that young boy who was inspired by Fetty Wap to go without his prosthetic eye? Well, Fetty finally got a chance to meet his famous fan last month.

According to People, Fetty met Jayden Burgos backstage at a tour stop in Denver on February 24. The 11-year-old Burgos lost his eye to retinoblastoma when he was 1 year old, but opted to go without it after seeing the “Trap Queen” singer. As his mom explained in an Instagram post:

“This young rapper unknowingly gave Jayden something we weren’t able to give him-the confidence to be different- and I am grateful to him. Thanks to Fetty Wap for saying F the world this is me, and for helping make our baby boy just a little more remarkable than he already is.”

On top of inviting Burgos backstage, Fetty gifted the boy with Remy Boyz gear. Fetty said he was happy to meet the fan he inspired.

“I’m happy I got to meet Jayden and his family. He is a really cool kid! It meant a lot to me personally to finally make his wish happen. It’s definitely a day we’ll both remember!”

If you need more reasons to love Fetty Wap, can’t imagine why this isn’t strong enough, but you can also revisit that time he cried getting an award from Music Choice.
